Presentation: Utilizing Modern Positioning Systems for Land Surveying
Join surveying experts Heath and Amara Hildebrand from surveying and civil engineering firm Eugene Lynne for a presentation focusing on conventional versus modern site positioning systems (UAV and laser scanning) and the applicability, constraints, and pitfalls of each. They will present projects for which they have used modern positioning systems to extract data and produce maps.
We will cover the history of survey, site positioning systems, navigating the remote world, black box theory, and project examples.
Eugene Lynne is a land surveying and civil engineering consulting firm focusing on project support services and has been in business since 2015. They are a certified small, disadvantaged business (DBE, ESB) and an M/WBE certified with the City and County of Denver. They primarily focus on public work at the state and local levels and typically perform projects in a support role to the prime consultant. Eugene Lynne is licensed to practice engineering and surveying in Colorado and California. Its partners are well versed in long term transit programs and have been instrumental in developing Colorado's infrastructure for two decades.
Heath Hildebrand is a professional land surveyor (PLS) with 23 years of experience in public improvements and private development. He is a professional land surveyor licensed in Colorado. With ten years prior construction experience, he excels in transportation and structural layout.
Amara Hildebrand is a professional engineer (PE) with 23 years of consulting experience in land development consulting, public development, and the private development industry. She is a licensed civil engineer in California and Colorado and is a LEED Accredited Professional as recognized by the United States Green Building Council.
